Join us for the 2017 Summer Strategy Session!

August 25 - 27: three days of networking, strategizing and organizing on
environmental and climate justice issues across Wisconsin, 
facilitated by young activists, workshops will focus on strengthening current campaigns
through cross-campus, school and community collaboration.
​If you're an environmental organizer between the ages of 13 and 30, we want you to join us!


When:
Friday, August 25 at 3:00 pm for set up/check in - Sunday, August 27 at 3:00 pm

Where:
Friday's session will take place at Bay Shore County Park, New Franken (just north of Green Bay), where we are staying for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday sessions will take place at UW-Green Bay. 

Overnight Accommodations:
Camping* at Bay Shore County Park, 5637 Sturgeon Bay Rd, New Franken, WI 54229. Even if you don't own a tent, we will connect you with a weekend tent-mate who does!

*There will be backup housing available in case of rain; UW-Green Bay students are willing to host attendees overnight.

Transportation:
Carpools from around the state are being arranged by a member of the Wisconsin Youth Network. Riders and drivers assume liability for participating in carpools. You can sign up for a carpool when you register for the event.

Cost:
Free to attend, thanks to the national Sierra Student Coalition and the Sierra Club-John Muir Chapter!

Agenda Overview:
Day 1: Relationship building and campaign overviews
Day 2: Deep dives into campaigns: tar sand pipelines, clean energy, and sustainable & just food
With guest facilitators from Power Shift Network and more!
Day 3: Take action!
